I'm Karl.

I currently reside in the northwest with my wife, son and army of animals. I work as a career firefighter and on the side pursue photography with my drone and canon camera. Photography for me is an outlet from a stressful job. It inspires me to adventure and explore and share what I see. I used to take photos all the time on my climbing adventures. I was lucky enough as a younger man to climb in Nepal and throughout the Cascades. Even climbing Mt.Rainier multiple times. Then I stopped. I pursued my career and I slowed down adventuring and taking photos until my son was born. With him the inspiration to get out and show him the world I loved viewing came back. A lot of these photos involve him in someway. Usually complaining while I am flying the drone or trying to knock my tripod over in front of some waterfall, but it is all worth it.
